Magnetising Prosperity Vase (g.yang bum)
Tibetan prosperity vase (g.yang bum) prepared, filled, and sealed in Sikkim and consecrated by the late Dodrupchen Rinpoche. Contains an assortment of sacred substances. Traditionally placed in one’s home/place of business, buried, etc. to attract and stabilise ‘yang’, a kind prosperity energy.
Prosperity Vases such as these are often given on special occasions such as births, weddings, housewarmings, business openings, or other new ventures. They can be kept in one’s home or office, buried, or (safely) placed in a body of water. Treasure vases are said to restore elemental harmony, directly benefiting the surrounding region (according to some, effecting a radius of up to 15 miles). These vases are from the Dodrupchen Monastery in Sikkim, India and were blessed by Dodrupchen Rinpoche before he passed away.
When placed in the home, it is advisable to keep the vase in a clean, high place (like a shrine) or in a cabinet. They should be gently dusted off once a year (usually at Losar), and can be repeatedly ‘energised’ with appropriate practices like g.yang-retrieval rites.
Vases are composed of copper (painted red) and measure approximately 4.5'“ in height and diameter.
